Sites of Importance for Nature Conservation

Sites of Importance for Nature Conservation (SINCs) in the London Borough of Barnet as polygon features. SINCs are intended to provide protection for wildlife habitats. It is not a statutory designation but protection is considered through the planning process. Sites are classified hierarchically as Metropolitan, Borough Grade I, Borough Grade II or Local. Outside of London SINCs are referred to as Local Wildlife Sites.

Licence

This dataset has been published by the London Borough of Barnet under the Open Government Licence (OGL) (v3). The licence has been applied following the Public Sector Geospatial Agreement 'presumption to publish' process in August 2023.
